i never really knew much about food, cooking, and quality ingredients growing up - i come from a “meat & potatoes” family with little to no experimentation in the kitchen. as i grew up, i realized i was a bit more adventurous with food than my parents (still love you guys) - so i taught myself how to cook different cuisines with spices and ingredients i couldn’t even pronounce.
my passion for food continued into my adult years, but the way i was cooking changed because health issues forced me to pay more attention to what i was consuming and educate myself on quality ingredients. for example, did you know that vegetable oil is a high inflammatory ingredient that is found in far too many “health foods” on the market? i didn’t either. that’s when i took on the challenge of creating dishes with quality ingredients that are good for you. i’ll be the first to tell you that shifting your mindset when it comes to food is not an easy process. it takes time - but it has lead me to where i am today.
i started kjc as a creative outlet for myself, but soon realized that a lot of quality content creation wasn’t accessible to every small business when it should be. that’s when i combined my marketing background with my love for food & visuals, and came up with a customization process for brands so they’re able to have stunning, vibrant content for their company no matter the size of their budget. although cliche, we do “eat with our eyes first”, which is why high quality imagery is so crucial for marketing. we’ll work with you on a one-on-one basis to get to know you, your brand, and your vision. this allows my team and me to create customized content for your brand to help set you apart from others.
